Bulleh Shah (about 1680 to 1757) was a Punjabi Sufi poet who lived and is buried in Kasur, and a disciple of Shah Inayat. His kafis are sung to this day. They argue, often bluntly, that ritual and learning mean nothing without a clean heart, and they are in Punjabi rather than Urdu; the Urdu-script text here keeps the Punjabi wording.
