MyByteNest ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
MyByteNest does not require you to create an account. There is no sign-up, sign-in, or user profile. The app is designed to work offline-first with content stored locally on your device.

Personal Information: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any account credentials.
Content Data (from our server): The app downloads quotes, book summaries, and novel content from mybytenest.com over HTTPS. These requests do not include any user identifiers. Standard server logs may record IP addresses and request timestamps for operational and security purposes.
Advertising Data (via Google AdMob): Google AdMob may collect device information and advertising identifiers to serve ads. See the "Google AdMob" section below.
The app stores the following data locally on your device using Hive and SharedPreferences:
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, synced to the cloud, or shared with third parties. When you uninstall the app, all of this data is permanently removed.

You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time through your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
If you enable daily quote notifications, they are generated and scheduled locally on your device using the Flutter Local Notifications library. No notification content is sent to or through any external server. You can disable notifications at any time from the app's Settings screen or from your device's notification settings.

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, location, or any other sensitive device data.
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The content consists of inspirational quotes, book summaries, and novel analyses suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child under 13 has somehow provided personal information through AdMob, please contact us and we will work with Google to address it.
We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. The only third-party data processor is Google AdMob, and its data handling is described above and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Because MyByteNest does not store any of your personal data on our servers, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete.
